Dylan and Ava were keen to enter

Eleven-year-old Dylan Burns was really looking forward to maintain his Lego Champion title had Singleton Show gone ahead this year.
He won grand champion ribbon after winning the under 16 category with an intricate model of a bee hive last year. He said he was inspired by the need to raise awareness of nature and the importance to care for endangered species.
His sister, Ava, aged 9, also won a prize in the Lego Section and she was hoping to do well again this year too.
Like everyone, they are disappointed the show can’t go ahead and understand why.
But that doesn’t mean they won’t miss it. Dylan said he loves looking at the cakes and wishing he could eat them all.
For the Burns family, it is a wonderful two days out. As well as having fun on the rides, they usually sit together and watch the rodeo and the demolition derby. Ava and Dylan meet up with their friends and go and explore while mum and dad do the same thing in the comfort of the grandstand or around the ring. There are very few events in Singleton, if any, that provide this opportunity so they are missing it but really looking forward to Singleton Show 2021.
