Croquet players remember a club great

The Howe Park Croquet Club members paid tribute to a stalwart on the weekend.
A minute’s silence was held in memory of the late Bob Moore who passed away on Wednesday, October 28.
“Players observed a minute’s silence and we also wore black armbands in memory of Bob,” Lois Brooker said.
“Marie Pease then gave a short summary of Bob’s contribution to croquet over the years.”
New players are welcome to join croquet at Howe Park any Saturday from 1pm.
All equipment is supplied.

Betty Knight and Lois Brooker defeated Val Smith and Robyn Schmierer 7-5
Colleen McMahon and Val Smith defeated Bruce and Betty Knight 7-3
