Collision at Muscle Creek
Overnight the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by Ambulance New South Wales to rural property at Muscle Creek, east of Muswellbrook to reports of 48-year-old female that had collided with a tree whilst riding a trail bike.
It was reported that the female had received injuries to her head and chest.
Local Ambulance Paramedics and Emergency Services attended the location and commenced treatment prior to the arrival of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and Critical Care Medical Team. The Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team worked alongside local Paramedics treating the female before she was stabilised and flown direct to the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle in a serious but stable condition.
