Huntlee’s Zac Gayfer has had a season to remember.
The Queensland recruit inspired the Western Suburbs Plovers to an undefeated season in the Maitland District Cricket Association’s first grade competition.
The feat over City United at Lorn Park marked his first premiership. He will now return to Singleton this AFL Hunter Central Coast season.
MEANWHILE Denman’s Riley Ayre made his Sheffield Shield debut last week when representing NSW against Western Australia.
He was selected with Cap #759 for his proud state.
