The Singleton Greyhounds’ under-12 side celebrated a hard fought 14-12 grand final win at St John Oval on Saturday.

The Greyhounds entered the final with bragging rights over Belmont North as the favourite having defeated the Sharks 16-14 in their previous encounter at Cook Park in Round 11.

Singleton was coached by Daniel Trees with the assistance of Matt Jones (assistant coach), Klint Williams, Danny Gardiner (trainers) and Sarah Williams (manager).

Singleton’s winning co-captains were Tyson Williams and Zac Jones.

Earlier in the morning the Greyhounds’ under-13 women’s tackle side faced a 20-12 defeat to Wests in the season decider held at Cahill Oval.
