Sencia Looks Forward to Welcoming its First Residents

In July 2022, Retirement Living Operator Sencia commenced construction of their 206 Villa Retirement Community with a $6M luxury Clubhouse in the popular Huntlee Estate.

According to Stuart Moore, Chief Executive Officer of Sencia ‘The construction team has shown great determination and skill to be on track to deliver stage 1 for July 2023.’ He added, ‘we have been overwhelmed with the response to Green Ridge Hunter Valley with some 30 villas reserved across Stage 1 & 2’.  You can reserve your villa today with no deposit and have peace of mind that a detailed pre-settlement inspection is conducted prior to moving into your new home. Retirement living also has the benefit of not paying stamp duty, a saving for those who are looking to downsize their home and upsize their lifestyle.

The project is anticipated to house over 300 Residents with a range of 2 and 3-bedroom villas of house size proportions each with a double garage and storage available. The smallest villa will be 145sqm and the largest 168sqm plus generous outdoor alfresco area set within vibrant low maintenance gardens.

The new 1400 square metre Clubhouse will feature amenities such as heated indoor pool, outdoor spa, gym, group exercise rooms, consulting suites, piano bar, commercial kitchen, indoor dining, outdoor dining, lounge, library, cinema, and all overlooking a bowling green plus landscaped garden.

The project provides an opportunity for Sencia to build upon the success of its most recent Village The Breeze, Point Lonsdale which is now home to over 260 Residents. According to Stuart, ‘Our focus is to provide generous and sustainable homes within a community that provides connection and a vibrant lifestyle. As an Australian owned and operated business with extensive experience in Retirement Living, we have seen firsthand the social and physical benefits to Residents living within a thriving community and we look forward to bringing this project to life in the Hunter Valley’.

After extensive research of the market Stuart says ‘we saw a gap in the Hunter Valley for luxury retirement living that provides generous house sized villas and the highest quality facilities and services. We anticipate people from around NSW will continue to embrace the tree change and recognise Green Ridge Hunter Valley as a great lifestyle proposition’.

The site at Kesterton Rise, North Rothbury is just 300m from the Huntlee Town Square which features a Shopping Centre anchored by Coles, Medical Centre, and Restaurant Tavern. The Village is pet friendly and the site is bordered by walking trails and parklands, with the popular Hunter Valley wineries, golf courses, horse riding and food offerings just a short 10-minute drive away. Newcastle CBD and Airport are just a 50-minute drive away.

Stage 1 release of 27 villas is nearly sold out. In March 2023, another 21 villas were released with a number already reserved in Stage 2. Villas currently available range from $620,000 to $700,000. Monthly charges have been set at a low of $435 (GST inclusive), which includes Council Rates and Building Insurance.
