The Singleton Roosters’ junior players have returned to the training track.

The successful AFL Hunter Central Coast club celebrated minor premierships in three junior age categories last year after the 2021 season was cut short due to covid.

Incoming junior club president Ashley Borg has declared that there are many spots available for those interested in trying the sport.

“We are building teams and interest and we are looking at fielding as many teams as possible from under 9 and up to 17 boys and girls,” Borg told The Hunter River Times.

“We are also looking at Auskick for ages 5-12 for kids looking to learn the game.”

Those interested in joining the Singleton Roosters’ junior program are welcome to attend training from 4:30-6pm on Tuesday and Thursday at Rose Point Park or to contact Ashley Borg on 0402419787.
