Op Shop Charity Singleton’s Generous Donation

After another record year, Op Shop Charity Singleton Inc has generously donated $120,000 to 20 Singleton community groups and organisations.

The recipients included Elizabeth Gates Village Auxiliary, Calvary Retirement Auxiliary (Cooinda), Mercy Services, Singleton Hospital Auxiliary, Singleton Town Band, Rotary Club of Singleton on Hunter, Singleton Theatrical Society (SATS), Singleton PCYC, Singleton Public School Special Ed Unit, Anglican Parish of Singleton (GAPS), Singleton Family Support Group, CWA Singleton Branch, Singleton English Literacy for New Australians, Singleton Community Health, Singleton Historical Society and Museum, Anglican Parish of Singleton (Playgroup), Family History Society Singleton, Northern Agricultural Association (N.A.A.) and Singleton High School.

The Hunter River Times was also a grateful recipient of Op Shop Charity Singleton Inc’s generous donations.

“We are very happy and proud to be able to do this each year and we’d like to just thank all the local people that donate goods to us to sell,” Op Shop Charity Singleton Inc secretary Heather Davis told The Hunter River Times.

“The wide range of organisations we donated to just goes to show how many volunteers are working for wonderful organisations in Singleton.”
