Support Carrowbrook and Visit the Gardens

SHARE THE STORY:

Two of the most beautiful gardens you would ever want to visit will be open to the public on November 12 and 13.

Terry Ellis at 232 Carrowbrook Road and Rod and Mandy Blomfield at 3 Old Carrowbrook Road, outside of Singleton, will open their gardens both days from 10am to 4pm.

All proceeds will be shared between Mt Olive Hall and the Carrowbrook Rural Fire Brigade.

These two vastly different gardens will inspire your own creativeness and is a chance to see what grows well in the district along with some ideas for your own garden aspirations.

The cost is $5 for each garden with your choice of visiting one or both.

There will be plants for sale and a raffle.  Visitors are welcome to bring along a picnic and a rug to enjoy the gardens at their leisure.

Of course, this event will be totally weather dependent and will be cancelled if the weather is inclement.

To get to the gardens turn at the traffic lights at the Bridgman Road and New England Highway intersection and head out along Bridgeman Road for about 20 minutes and you will see the signs.
