The Scone Brumbies will return home this weekend to take on the Tamworth Pirates.
For the second straight year, the Brumbies will hope to rectify a 0-6 record after defeats to Walcha (48-16), Narrabri (42-0), Gunnedah (57-7), Quirindi Lions (27-19), Moree Bulls (38-0) and Inverell (59-3).
Last year, they turned their fortune around with a 34-15 win the Barraba Rams.
This led to a handful of victories leading into the 2021 finals series (which was cancelled due to the covid-lockdown).
Perhaps the climb will commence tomorrow at Scone’s Rugby Park?
MEANWHILE the Singleton Bulls will travel to Passmore Oval to take on the top of the table Hamilton Hawks this Saturday in the Hunter Rugby competition.
The Hawks have only lost one match in the Premier 1 competition (a 22-27 defeat to Maitland) while the Bulls have only registered one win (a memorable 40-27 victory against Lake Macquarie).
IN OTHER NEWS the Pokolbin Reds will travel to Dangar Park to take on Easts in the Hunter Rugby Divisional competition.
The Reds suffered a 12-5 defeat to Medowie in the top of the table clash.
