Martindale’s Phoebe Desmond has guided NSW Country to glory at 4 Pines Park.
The Newcastle Knight helped her side overcome an early deficit to secure a 14-6 victory at the Harvey Norman Women’s Open Age Country v City shield on Saturday.
Overall, the result snapped City’s five-year stronghold while former Singleton Greyhound Bailey Schultz also celebrated a 24-12 victory for Country in the NSW Men’s Police game at Leichhardt Oval.
