Singleton Roosters president Dylan Hixon has already faced a challenge in 2023.
On Saturday, January 7 the club was notified that one of the club’s entry points was vandalised by the burning of a council bin.
“As a club we are saddened and disgusted in the act of vandals in the community,” Hixon told The Hunter River Times.
“To most of us this club is a second home and we love this club with all our hearts and I urge that vandalism is not on in this community.
“If you see or hear of anything please call crime stoppers or the local police.”
